Ghouls 'n Ghosts
T. Kawamoto, Unknown-
From the Commodore 64 conversion of the Capcom arcade game.
By 1988 the Ghosts 'n Goblins franchise had left Elite Systems and arrived at Software Creations, now home to the rising musical star Tim Follin. His work for this game on all platforms was a tour de force with some original tunes and some arcade ports (this tune appears on all versions in some form - on the ZX Spectrum it's the title screen, but on other platforms it's Stage 2 - Village of Decay). Anyway, it seems to have ended up sounding quite Leonard Bernstein-y - purely by accident!
Tim routinely generated echo effects on his music by the manual method of playing the same notes but delayed on a different channel. This score achieves the same effect in the same way.
Composed by: Tamayo Kawamoto, this score based on an arrangement Timothy J. Follin
Arranged by: Chris Abbott & Alisdair J. Pickering
Orchestrated by: Alisdair J. Pickering
