Peter Connelly was the musician at Core Design who had the unenviable task of taking over music in the Tomb Raider franchise after the departure of Nathan Macree, composer of Tomb Raiders 1-3. Peter, a great musician, took the series to new heights, culminating in what many regard as the crowning achievement of Tomb Raider soundtracks: Angel of Darkness.
In 1999, Peter was one of the first musicians to get involved in orchestral C64 remixing, producing stunning orchestral versions of Aztec Challenge and Forbidden Forest.
In this concert, his Aztec Challenge was used as the basis for a pulse-pounding experience, its soul intact. It wouldn't be what it is without him!
